Is AldSports secure?
AldSports limits what discovery reveals about attendees, checks participation before showing private activity access, and lets members review and end signed-in device sessions from Settings.
No online service or in-person meeting can be guaranteed risk-free. Security also depends on the device and browser you use, so keep them updated and sign out when using a shared device.
We review protections and correct issues as the service evolves. If you believe you found a vulnerability, please send the details privately through our contact page.
What can other members see?
AldSports is designed around activities and shared interests rather than public contact lists. Activity conversations do not require you to publish your phone number to other members.
Some information must be visible for an activity to work, such as the host, activity description and the people who are permitted to participate. Visibility can depend on whether someone is signed in, has requested to join, has been approved, was removed, or is hosting the activity.
Precise private meeting information should be shared only with the people who need it. Review an activity and its participants before joining, and avoid putting sensitive personal details into descriptions or chat messages.
How is my account protected?
Sign-in and access controls are used to decide which member features and information a person may use. Knowing or receiving a link does not by itself grant permission to private member content.
We continue to review account access, sign-out and recovery behaviour as AldSports evolves. Security improvements are tested before they become public promises.
You can help by using a device and browser you trust, keeping software updated, signing out on shared devices and never sending passwords, one-time codes or account credentials to another person.
Can AldSports personnel access my data?
AldSports and its service providers process information when necessary to operate accounts, activities, messages, safety reviews and support. We do not promise that all information is technically inaccessible to every authorised person.
Personnel access should be limited to a legitimate operational, safety, security or legal purpose and protected by appropriate organisational and technical safeguards.
We will make stronger access or encryption claims only when the corresponding protection has been verified.
What about meeting somebody new?
Account security cannot make an in-person meeting automatically safe. For a first activity, prefer a public place, tell somebody you trust where you are going, arrange your own transport and leave whenever you feel uncomfortable.
Phone or email verification proves control of that contact method; it is not proof of identity, character, qualifications or safety. Review the host, activity, location and joined members, and ask questions before attending.
Our detailed Safety Centre covers payments, outdoor activities, boundaries, evidence and emergency guidance. Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services, because AldSports cannot provide emergency assistance.
What choices do I have?
You may review and update information through available account controls. You can review signed-in devices and end sessions from Settings. AldSports does not currently provide in-app account deletion; follow the email instructions on the Account Deletion Request page.
For a non-emergency member or activity safety concern, email [email protected]. In-app member/activity reporting and blocking are not currently available.
Some information may be retained where required or permitted by applicable law, lawful authority requirements, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, legal holds or backup cycles. The Privacy Policy contains the formal details.
Policies, standards and help
The Privacy Policy explains data handling and rights. The Terms of Use govern the service, while the Community Guidelines describe expected conduct.
This Centre is the readable front door to those documents; it does not replace them. Where a summary and a policy appear inconsistent, tell us so that we can investigate and correct the source.
